 Furnaces and Commercial Systems: Fans motors and controls, should be inspected at lease quarterly and cleaned and lubricated yearly. Care should be exercised not allowing oil to run into the fan blades. Noisy furnace doesn't necessarily mean replacement, if a fan is out of alignment this may be the cause of the noise. Fans should be checked for alignment, and test it for operable condition.

Fire doors and fire dampers: Each fire door and fire dampers should be examined once a year giving attention to hinges and moving parts to see that it is in good operable condition
